WASPS BEATS CANNONS 300-170 IN GROUP A FINALS
With everyone's spirits
high and adrenaline fully pumped, the Annual National Quidditch League
Premier division is near its final stages. Now, the seven groups (A~G)'s
two finalists each will qualify for the second round.
The much awaited for
match, the clash of the titans - Wimbourne Wasps versus the Chudley
Cannons, raged
yesterday,26th and ended with an amazing comeback by the wasps as they
defeated the cannons 300-170.
The score was constantly close thoughout the match
with Hawkin, Volvokov, Hughes of the wasps, and Davidson, Abott, Fletchy
of the cannons scoring goal after goal. But two blunders by the newly
transferred keeper, Nazgul, sent the wasps twenty points down, 150-170.
But Luck was on the wasps' side as
the golden snitch finally made its debut adjacent to the wasps' left
goalpost. With the successful dive by the seeker and skillful stops to
the opponent by the beaters, the wasps caught the golden snitch, worth
150 points, and the game ended.

VICTOR KRUM TO TRANSFER, SAYS TEAM MANAGER
Victor Krum, world's most famous seeker and
Bulgaria's treasured team member, was planning to transfer from his
current Quidditch club QC Natione of Bulgaria to Club Istanbul, a
Turkish owned Quidditch club, also in Bulgaria. This information was
told by Krum's current team manager Antonov, last week.
"Krum was a terrific player and had won us many
glories.",said Antonov. "This transfer plan was completely Krum's own
idea. He wanted to try out other teams as well for a change."
Currently, Victor Krum himself hadn't yet said
anything about this transfer to the media himself. For all we know from
Antonov, Krum would be transferred soon, most probably the start of next
year. However, the reliability of this information is still at doubt. กก |
